Red Velvet Cupcakes

I made red velvet cupcakes for the first time on the weekend for Father's Day. They are an American favourite I am told. The cake has a mild chocolate taste and is then iced with a cream cheese icing. My mum and husband were fans of this cake but as I am a big chocolate lover I like something with a little more choc!
